MGE Energy Announces Executive Retirement and Succession Plan

Mge Energy Inc. (MGEE) has released an update.

Tamara Johnson, the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller of MGE Energy and Madison Gas and Electric Company, has announced her retirement effective June 30, 2024. Jenny Lagerwall, with over five years of experience at MGE, is set to take over Johnson’s role from July 1, 2024. Lagerwall, currently the Director of Financial Reporting, will also become Assistant Vice President – Accounting starting March 1, 2024, and will retain her current base salary while becoming eligible for additional incentive programs.
