MetLife Enhances Executive Compensation and Elects Board Directors

An update from Metlife (MET) is now available.

MetLife, Inc. shareholders and Board of Directors have approved the MetLife, Inc. 2025 Stock and Incentive Compensation Plan, effective January 1, 2025, to grant equity-based compensation to key employees and directors. Additionally, the MetLife Annual Variable Incentive Plan was approved to offer annual cash incentives to selected employees based on set performance criteria. During the annual meeting, shareholders elected thirteen Directors for the upcoming year, ratified Deloitte & Touche LLP as independent auditors, approved executive compensation, and rejected a proposal for a third-party racial equity audit.
