Metgasco Ltd, in partnership with Vintage Energy Ltd and Bridgeport Cooper Basin Pty Ltd, is set to enhance gas production in the Cooper Basin with the completion of Odin-2 well and optimization of Odin-1 and Vali-2 wells in July. The Odin-2 well has shown promising gas reserves across multiple formations, and the company aims to boost output by revisiting existing wells for potential re-perforation. This development is crucial as gas from the Odin wells is contracted for supply to Pelican Point Power until December 2026.
