METabolic EXplorer (METEX), an industrial fermentation leader, has requested the Commercial Court of Paris to change its safeguard procedure to a judicial recovery procedure to facilitate the examination of offers for asset acquisition. The company’s shares will remain suspended from trading, and it is anticipated that the proceeds from any asset sales will not be sufficient to repay shareholders after the group’s liabilities are settled.
