Metatek-Group Doubles Revenue in 2025 and Closes C$35 Million TSX IPO

Metatek-Group Ltd. reported record fiscal 2025 revenue of $23.7 million, nearly doubling year over year, with gross profit up 136% and margins expanding to 60% as improved project execution and full deployment of its eFTG system drove performance. Despite a total comprehensive loss of $20.0 million caused by non-cash revaluation charges on debentures that converted to equity in connection with its IPO, the company delivered positive operating cash flow, sharply higher adjusted EBITDA margins and an enlarged adjusted backlog of about $69 million, while completing a C$35 million initial public offering and retiring its borrowings, strengthening its capacity and positioning for further growth in geophysical services.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, revenue rose 69% to $7.5 million and gross profit increased 62% with a 62% gross margin, while adjusted EBITDA grew 47% and margins reached 44%. The strong quarterly and full-year operating trends, combined with the balance sheet reset from the IPO and expanding contracted work, suggest Metatek is transitioning from early-stage scaling to a more mature, growth-focused phase that could enhance its competitive standing and visibility among energy and critical minerals stakeholders.
