Metaplanet Inc. announced the issuance of its 4th Series of Ordinary Bonds to EVO FUND, using the funds to purchase Bitcoin, with future plans for additional bond issuances up to 5 billion yen. The bonds, interest-free and redeemable in full by June 2025, aim to leverage the exercise of stock acquisition rights for redemption. The financial impact of this strategy on Metaplanet’s fiscal performance is expected to be minimal.
