Metallurgical Corp Contracts Dip, Overseas Deals Soar

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. Class H (HK:1618) has released an update.

The Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. has announced that the value of its newly signed contracts from January to May 2024 fell by 5.7% year-over-year to RMB508.91 billion. However, the company experienced a significant 121.8% increase in newly signed overseas contracts, totaling RMB25.77 billion for the same period. Major contracts signed in May include a green hydrogen metallurgy project and a new energy industrial park construction, highlighting the company’s ongoing projects.
