Metallic Minerals Corp. has reported promising results from their 2023 drilling campaign at the La Plata project in Colorado, highlighting continuous porphyry-style Cu-Ag-Au-PGE mineralization and high-grade zones. The exploration, aided by a strategic investment and technical support from Newmont Corporation, extended mineralization over significant lengths and depths, with plans to expand the resource and drill test new targets in 2024. The La Plata mining district has also been recognized by the USGS as a potential critical minerals resource area.
