Cortus Metals ( (TSE:MLO) ) has shared an announcement.
Metalero Mining reported encouraging soil geochemical and geophysical results from the Sundberg target on its Benson Project in central British Columbia. Ionic Leach soil surveys identified southeast-trending copper-in-soil anomalies spanning about 5 square kilometres that flank strong magnetic and conductivity highs, suggesting potential porphyry-style copper-gold mineralization that remains open in several directions.
Complementary ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys delivered higher-resolution data than historical work and appear to indicate possible sulphide mineralization at depth. With 835 soil samples now collected across the Cantin, Sundberg, and Chiaz targets, the company has refined several AI-generated QUEST targets and outlined areas that require follow-up exploration, while also raising its profile with investors through participation at the PDAC 2026 mining convention in Toronto.
