Mermaid Maritime Director’s Past Charges Unrelated

Mermaid Maritime Public Co., Ltd. (SG:DU4) has released an update.

Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited has disclosed that a director, Dr. Jean Paul Thevenin, faces unrelated criminal charges in Thailand, dating back to actions taken over 15 years ago with a different company. The Mermaid board and Nomination Committee have reviewed the situation and confirmed that Dr. Thevenin’s role as a director remains unaffected, as the charges do not pertain to his duties at Mermaid. He continues to serve as a director but will abstain from board discussions about himself.
