Taulelei, a prominent business leader with extensive governance experience, is expected to enhance Mercury’s stakeholder relationships and sustainability efforts, aligning with the company’s focus on deepening connections in key regions. Her appointment comes as part of a board transition, with directors James Miller, Lorraine Witten, and Mike Taitoko set to retire in September 2025. Taitoko’s departure marks the end of a decade-long tenure during which he significantly contributed to Mercury’s engagement with the Māori community.
