Mercurius Capital Clears Debt with Bank Settlement

Mercurius Capital Investment Limited (SG:5RF) has released an update.

Mercurius Capital Investment Limited has successfully negotiated a settlement with Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, paying US$460,000—about 50% of the demanded amount—to fully clear the debt. This payment follows a previous demand for over RM4 million, which could have led to compulsory winding-up proceedings if left unpaid. The settlement was facilitated by the sale of immovable assets from the Songmart Companies, with proceeds going to the Bank.
