Mercia Asset Management PLC, a specialist asset manager with around £1.5 billion in managed assets, has reported the purchase of 270,000 of its Ordinary shares at 35.40 pence each, as part of its Share Buyback Programme. These shares will be held in treasury, reducing the number of shares in issue on the AIM market to 433,752,109. The company will make further announcements following any additional purchases.
