Mercia Asset Management PLC, a specialist asset manager with over £1.5 billion in assets, has purchased 144,000 of its own Ordinary shares at 34 pence each as part of its Share Buyback Programme. The shares will be held in treasury, reducing the number of shares in issue and trading on the AIM market to 432,383,109. Further announcements are expected as the buyback programme continues.
