The latest announcement is out from Pinedale Energy ( (TSE:MCF) ).

MCF Energy Ltd. has announced an operational update on the Kinsau-1A well in Lech, Germany, where drilling operations have resumed on a well originally drilled by Mobil in 1983. The inspection and testing of the casing were successful, ensuring the protection of shallow groundwater resources. The drilling targets the Jurassic Purbeck carbonate interval, known for high gas rates, which could enhance Germany’s energy security by reducing imports and promoting the use of domestic natural gas resources.
