MCC Reports Mixed Contracts Performance in 2024

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. Class H (HK:1618) has released an update.

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. has reported a 6.4% decrease in the value of newly signed contracts for January to July 2024, totaling RMB750.44 billion, compared to the previous year. However, it’s not all bleak news as their overseas contract value surged by 83.0%, reaching RMB44.39 billion. The report highlighted major contracts including a RMB12.0 billion EPC project with WISDRI Engineering and an RMB11.9 billion construction contract with Shanghai Baoye Group.
