M&C Saatchi plc ( (GB:SAA) ) has issued an announcement.
M&C Saatchi reported a difficult 2025, with like-for-like net revenue down 7.3% to £204.7 million and operating profit falling 26.1%, hit by weak consumer sentiment, US trade policy changes, and an unprecedented US Government shutdown that hurt its high-margin Issues division. Statutory operating profit more than halved to £10.2 million, while operating margins contracted as prior-year investments and restructuring costs in Australia compounded a second-half revenue shortfall.
Despite the downturn, the group maintained a resilient balance sheet, increasing net cash to £13.3 million on the back of strong 94% operating cash conversion and limited capital needs. Under new Executive Chair Dame Heather Rabbatts, the Board is prioritising simplification, refining its go-to-market offer, reallocating would-be dividends to an enhanced share buyback, and targeting net revenue and operating profit growth in 2026, supported by strong client retention, strategic acquisitions in Dune 23 and The Women’s Sports Group, and greater use of data and AI.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:SAA) stock is a Buy with a £150.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on M&C Saatchi plc stock, see the GB:SAA Stock Forecast page.
