Panasonic Energy and Mazda Motor Corporation have announced a collaboration to supply next-generation cylindrical lithium-ion batteries for Mazda’s upcoming battery electric vehicles (BEVs) from 2027. This partnership aims to expand Japan’s manufacturing base for batteries and accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in alignment with the country’s carbon neutrality goals.
