Mawson Gold Limited’s subsidiary, Southern Cross Gold, has started a significant geophysical survey at the Sunday Creek Project to define new drill targets in historically mined areas. The survey, which will map a 6 km strike in a 12 km2 area, employs induced polarization to detect gold-antimony mineralization signals associated with pyrite. The company’s current focus is to expand exploration beyond the core area, which could significantly increase understanding and valuation of their gold project.
