Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 PLC has announced the appointment of Brian Phillips as an independent Non-executive Director effective from January 1, 2025. Brian Phillips brings over 35 years of board-level experience in industry, private equity investment, and corporate finance, and his role will include serving on several of the company’s committees. Concurrently, the company announced the retirement of Gordon Humphries, who has been instrumental in guiding the company through significant transitions, including its shift to a hybrid private equity and AIM investment vehicle. Brian Phillips will succeed him as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committees following the 2025 AGM.
