Maven Income and Growth VCT 4 PLC has advanced its ongoing fundraising campaign, which was launched in October 2025 to raise up to £7.5 million, with a potential £5 million over-allotment, through the issue of new ordinary shares. As part of this effort, the company is strengthening its capital base to continue backing smaller UK businesses while providing investors with access to tax-efficient venture capital exposure.
In the latest tranche for the 2026/2027 tax year, the company received £170,000 of valid applications and issued 314,930 new ordinary shares at prices between 53.86p and 54.70p. This brings the total share count and voting rights to 167,539,946, with the new shares expected to begin trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market around 15 April 2026.
This allotment is the first for the 2026/2027 tax year, with the board planning a final allotment before the end of April 2026 to complete this phase of fundraising. To date, the offer has attracted applications totalling £8,989,342 across the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 tax years, underscoring sustained investor appetite for the trust’s strategy and expanding its capacity to deploy capital into qualifying investments.
