Mare Engineering Group SpA ( (IT:MARE) ) has issued an update.
Mare Group S.p.A., an Italian high-tech engineering hub listed on Euronext Growth Milan, operates in aerospace and defense, industry, critical infrastructure and twin transition, serving more than 2,000 clients through an asset-light, platform-based model. With over 700 staff across 32 offices in five countries and a track record of 19 acquisitions since 2019, the group has established itself as a major consolidator of innovation in Italy and Europe.
The board of Mare Group has resolved to tender its entire 40.97% stake in Eles Semiconductor Equipment S.p.A. into the voluntary takeover offer launched by Xenon, crystallizing proceeds of about €26.3 million and a capital gain of roughly €5.6 million. The move follows what Mare describes as a persistently closed attitude by Eles’ management and historic shareholders toward its proposed industrial integration, effectively closing off its aggregation project and prompting the group to redeploy freed resources into other growth initiatives while reserving the right to pursue legal actions to protect its interests.
