Mapletree Logistics Trust has announced the issuance of 7,490,536 new units at S$1.4475 each to cover partial payment for base, property management, and lease management fees for the first quarter of 2024. The payments, made in the form of equity instead of cash, are in alignment with the trust’s deed and management agreements for various properties across Asia and Australia. This strategic move dilutes existing unitholders but funds the trust’s ongoing operations without depleting cash reserves.
