Maple Leaf Green World (TSE:MGW) has released an update.
Maple Leaf Green World Inc. has struck a 40-year lease option with the Town of Coronation to construct a 12MW solar farm on 50-60 acres of underutilized land. The project is set to bolster local economic growth by generating clean electricity, contributing tax and lease revenue, and offering long-term infrastructure benefits to the community. After comprehensive studies and regulatory approvals, the eco-friendly initiative is expected to start construction in late 2025 and stands as a significant venture in renewable energy for Alberta.
