Manulife US REIT has issued a call to action for its unitholders to submit withholding tax exemption documents by September 30, 2024, to reduce their tax burden. Those who fail to provide valid documentation by August 30 will face a 30% withholding tax on their income from the trust. This initiative follows a previous announcement and aims to streamline tax processes for the REIT’s investors.
