The proceeds are intended to fund a tender offer for outstanding senior notes and debentures, redeem approximately $587 million of other outstanding notes, and cover related fees and expenses. Additionally, Macy’s announced the early tender results and upsizing of its tender offer to repurchase up to $250 million of its outstanding notes, increasing the maximum amount from $175 million to $250 million. The tender offer, which had an early settlement date of July 29, 2025, saw all validly tendered notes accepted for purchase, with no notes accepted after the early tender date.
