Lynas Advances Clean Energy with Hybrid Power Station

Lynas Rare Earths Limited (AU:LYC) has released an update.

Lynas Rare Earths Ltd has partnered with Zenith Energy to develop a 65MW hybrid renewable power station for its Mt Weld mine, featuring wind, solar, and battery storage capabilities, alongside a gas-fired power plant. The project aims to deliver 70% renewable energy annually and significantly cut GHG emissions by 60,000t CO2-equivalent yearly. The transition from diesel to a hybrid renewable power solution promises lower energy costs and a step towards cleaner energy.
