Richard Roedel has stepped down from his roles as Interim Executive Chairman, Interim President, and Board member of Luna Innovations Incorporated due to personal health reasons, a move not influenced by any operational disagreements with the company. He will not receive severance or other benefits upon his departure. Following this, Warren B. Phelps III has taken over as the non-executive Chair of the Board.
