Lucapa Diamond Co. Ltd. is set to streamline its asset portfolio by offloading its 70% stake in Lesotho’s Mothae Diamond Mine to Lephema Executive Transport, allowing the company to concentrate on its Angolan and Australian projects. The divestment, which is part of a new strategic focus following a board restructuring, involves a nominal sale price and the transfer of liabilities to the buyer. Completion of the deal hinges on several conditions and is expected by 30 September 2024.
