Lucapa Diamond Co. Ltd. has completed the sale of its 70% stake in Mothae Diamonds, the owner of Mothae Diamond Mine in Lesotho, to Lephema Executive Transport. The divestment results from a strategic review by Lucapa’s newly restructured Board and will lead to Mothae operations being reported as discontinued in future financial statements. Lucapa continues to hold assets in Angola and Australia, including the high-value Lulo diamond mine and the Merlin Diamond Project in the Northern Territory.
