Monger Gold Ltd. ( (AU:LLM) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Loyal Metals has reported assay results from a third drillhole at its Highway Reward project in Queensland, confirming a large, continuous copper–gold–silver VHMS system beneath the eastern wall of the historic open pit. The latest hole, collared about 70 metres from the pit wall, intersected 179 metres at 1.47% copper equivalent from around 100 metres depth, including several higher-grade zones that underscore the thickness and continuity of mineralisation.
The company says these results, combined with recent high-density gravity survey data, indicate a vertically extensive sulphide system extending well below historic workings and point to a materially different, bulk-style development opportunity than past narrow-lens mining. With $5.6 million in funding on hand, Loyal Metals plans to accelerate integrated geological interpretation and further drilling of high-priority copper–gold targets at Highway Reward, potentially reshaping the project’s scale and economic profile for stakeholders.
