Los Andes Copper ( (TSE:LA) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Los Andes Copper has extinguished all remaining obligations under its US$5 million eight percent convertible debenture issued in 2021 to Queen’s Road Capital Investment by issuing 80,071 common shares at a deemed price of C$10.82 to settle the last portion of principal and accrued interest. The settlement, which includes interest shares subject to a standard Canadian securities hold period, leaves the debenture fully converted into equity with all accrued interest paid, simplifying the company’s capital structure as it continues to progress the large-scale Vizcachitas copper project in Chile.

Spark’s Take on LA Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, LA is a Neutral.

The score is primarily constrained by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening losses, and ongoing cash burn) and limited valuation support due to negative earnings. Technicals are also soft in the near term (below key short-term averages with negative MACD), partially offset by a stronger longer-term trend and a relatively solid balance sheet with moderate leverage.
