Loomis AB ( (SE:LOOMIS) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Loomis is entering the Peruvian market through an agreed public tender offer to acquire up to 100 percent of Hermes Transportes Blindados, a leading local cash management and secure logistics provider serving around 1,000 clients across finance, retail, government, industry and mining. The deal, valuing Hermes at about SEK 4 billion and financed entirely with debt, would add roughly SEK 1.2 billion in annual revenue, expand Loomis’ Latin American footprint, and is expected to be accretive to revenue growth, margins and earnings per share.

Management highlights Peru’s strong economic growth, high cash usage and stable macroeconomic environment as key drivers behind the move, with Hermes’ strength in SMEs, ATM services and mining logistics offering clear synergy potential with Loomis’ automated cash-handling and international valuables transport operations. Following completion, Hermes will be integrated into Loomis’ Europe and Latin America segment, bolstering the group’s position in Latin America, enhancing its mining segment offering and supporting its financial and sustainability targets without requiring additional regulatory approvals beyond the tender process.
