Loomis AB ( (SE:LOOMIS) ) has issued an announcement.
Loomis AB reported a strong start to 2026, delivering SEK 7.5 billion in first-quarter revenue despite significant currency headwinds, with currency-adjusted growth of 9.3% and organic growth of 5.9%. Profitability improved as the EBITA margin rose to 12.6% from 11.6%, and net income increased to SEK 530 million, while operating cash flow remained robust at SEK 797 million.
Both the U.S. and Europe/Latin America segments posted solid organic growth, driven by International and Automated Solutions, with the U.S. business achieving record EBITA and a 17.9% margin. Loomis also advanced its strategic agenda by entering Peru via the planned acquisition of Hermes Transportes Blindados, sharpening its SME focus, and securing validation of new science-based climate targets as cash’s societal role is reinforced by new cash-acceptance laws in key markets.
Management said the group is on track to meet its 2025–2027 targets, citing rolling 12‑month currency-adjusted growth of 7.2% and a 12.9% EBITA margin. The company’s mix of resilient cash infrastructure, automated solutions and integrated cash-and-digital offerings is intended to support merchants and financial institutions as regulatory requirements tighten and payment ecosystems become more digital.
