Loma Negra’s Parent Company Seeks Mediation

Loma Negra Compania Industrial Argentina Sociedad Anonima (LOMA) has released an update.

Loma Negra’s indirect controlling shareholder, InterCement, and related entities have filed for a Preliminary Injunction in Brazil to facilitate a court-supervised mediation process with financial creditors. This legal move aims to provide a stable environment for negotiations and does not affect InterCement’s operations with suppliers, employees, or customers. An exclusivity agreement with Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional regarding a potential acquisition of InterCement’s shares expired without renewal.
