Stratabound Minerals ( (TSE:LOD) ) has shared an announcement.
Lode Gold’s spin-out subsidiary Gold Orogen and its joint-venture partner have completed a fall diamond drill program at the McIntyre Brook property in northern New Brunswick, part of a 445 km² under-explored land package in an emerging gold camp. The six-hole, 847.9-metre program tested for extensions of the Lynx Zone from Kinross-Puma’s Williams Brook Project along a 3-kilometre corridor of geochemical anomalies, with assay results now pending.
The work underscores McIntyre Brook’s potential as a significant gold-copper discovery opportunity in a district-scale setting adjacent to projects held or optioned by larger players such as Kinross Gold and Kenorland Minerals. Successful results could enhance Lode Gold’s exploration profile in New Brunswick, strengthen the strategic value of its Gold Orogen spin-out, and improve its positioning within a competitive Atlantic Canada gold exploration camp.
