Livium Ltd has signed an exclusive agreement with Wabtec Corporation to recycle lithium-based and nickel-based batteries from Wabtec’s FLXdrive Battery Locomotives in Western Australia. This deal, starting in January 2025, marks a strategic move for Livium to diversify its battery sources and strengthen its leadership in Australia’s recycling industry. The collaboration aims to leverage Livium’s expertise to support sustainable operations in the rail and mining sectors.
