Lithium Australia NL ( (AU:LIT) ) has provided an announcement.
Livium has reported that its extraction technology partner Iondrive has achieved more than 85% silver recovery efficiency in initial bench-scale tests using its IONSolv platform, setting a technical baseline for further optimisation and future application to end-of-life solar panel material supplied by Livium. The results underpin Livium’s strategy to build a commercially viable, integrated solar panel recycling solution in Australia, in which silver recovery is expected to be a key economic driver given an estimated A$110 million–A$165 million annual silver value in the domestic waste stream, and will feed into upcoming stages of laboratory optimisation, techno-economic assessment and evaluation of potential commercial arrangements alongside the company’s dismantling collaboration with Won Kwang S&T and the tailwinds from the federal National Solar Panel Recycling Pilot.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:LIT) stock is a Hold with a A$0.01 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Lithium Australia NL stock, see the AU:LIT Stock Forecast page.
