LiveOne ( (LVO) ) has issued an announcement.

On March 3, 2026, LiveOne, Inc., its subsidiary Slacker, Inc., and Music and Entertainment Rights Licensing Independent Network Limited entered into a share issuance agreement under which LiveOne will issue 500,000 common shares at a deemed price of $7.50 per share to Merlin. The stock will be used to pay outstanding and future music royalty obligations under their Digital Music Services Agreement, whose term was extended through November 30, 2026, with a possible further extension to November 30, 2027.

The arrangement ties Merlin’s monetization of the shares to Slacker’s royalty obligations, including limits on Merlin’s daily share sales and options for Slacker to repurchase any unsold shares or settle remaining fees in cash at contract end. Settlement of the issuance, expected around March 10, 2026, will not generate cash proceeds for LiveOne but helps preserve liquidity while securing continued access to licensed music content and clarifying future payment mechanics for both parties.

The most recent analyst rating on (LVO) stock is a Buy with a $15.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on LiveOne stock, see the LVO Stock Forecast page.

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, LVO is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (revenue decline, sustained losses, negative equity, and negative TTM free cash flow). The latest earnings call adds meaningful support due to cost-driven margin improvement, positive adjusted EBITDA, and constructive guidance/pipeline traction, while technicals are neutral-to-mixed and valuation is constrained by negative earnings and no indicated dividend yield.
