LithiumBank Resources Corp. has announced the discovery of North America’s largest inferred lithium brine resource, with the highest lithium grade in Alberta, totaling 21.68 million tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent. The resources, identified in the Park Place project, are set to position Canada as a significant lithium supplier in the region. LithiumBank plans to further assess the resource and begin economic evaluations, leveraging experience from a nearby project and their Calgary-based pilot plant.
