Lithium Energy Ltd. ( (AU:LEL) ) has issued an announcement.
Lithium Energy Limited has completed a first-pass reverse circulation drilling campaign at its Sandy Creek Prospect within the Capricorn Gold-Copper Belt Project in central Queensland, drilling seven holes for a total of 1,708 metres. The program followed earlier rock chip sampling and targeted an interpreted hydrothermal system previously outlined by soil sampling.
Composite drilling samples have been dispatched for multi-element geochemical assays, including gold and copper, with results expected in late May 2026. Initial geological logging showed only localised alteration and very low sulphide content, prompting the company to scale back from the originally planned nine holes, and any further work at Sandy Creek will depend on the pending assay results and their interpretation.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:LEL) stock is a Hold with a A$0.33 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Lithium Energy Ltd. stock, see the AU:LEL Stock Forecast page.
