Liontown Signs New Offtake, Boosts Lithium Sales

Liontown Resources Limited (AU:LTR) has released an update.

Liontown Resources Limited has secured a short-term offtake agreement with Beijing Sinomine International Trade Co., Ltd. for the sale of up to 100,000 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate from its Kathleen Valley Lithium Project. The deal spans a 10-month period starting by 30 September 2024, with battery-grade lithium carbonate market prices influencing the pricing formula. This agreement is set to complement existing long-term contracts with major firms like Tesla, LG Energy Solution, and Ford as Liontown ramps up production.
