The latest update is out from Leroy Seafood Group ASA ( (GB:0GM2) ).
Lerøy Seafood Group reported first-quarter 2026 operational EBIT of NOK 858 million, down from NOK 1,049 million a year earlier, as lower salmon and trout prices and margin pressure in value-added processing offset strong biological performance and a sharp improvement in its wild-catch segment. Farming EBIT fell to NOK 555 million despite a 4% rise in harvest volumes, VAP S&D earnings declined amid currency and freight volatility, while Wild Catch EBIT jumped to NOK 228 million on higher prices and operational gains, prompting an upgraded 2026 outlook for that segment and underscoring management’s confidence in its cost programme, growth ambitions and planned dividend payout.
The company maintained its 2026 Norwegian harvest guidance at 195,000 tonnes, with total volume including its share of Scottish Sea Farms expected at 217,000 tonnes, and reaffirmed long-term targets of NOK 2 billion in operational EBIT in VAP S&D and 220,000 GWT of organic harvest volume in Norway by 2030. Lerøy has realised NOK 173 million of a NOK 1 billion cost programme so far, has initiatives in place for a further NOK 586 million and expects a substantial profit-and-loss impact from 2027, signaling ongoing efficiency gains and a strategic focus on growth, cost discipline and organisational simplification for stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:0GM2) stock is a Hold with a NOK48.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Leroy Seafood Group ASA stock, see the GB:0GM2 Stock Forecast page.
