Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd has signed a licence agreement for a new 98-room Lemon Tree Hotel in Simara, Nepal, which will be managed by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels Private Limited. The property will offer a multi-cuisine restaurant, lounge, banquet and conference spaces, and wellness facilities including a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre.
With this signing, Lemon Tree will have seven properties in Nepal, combining operational and upcoming hotels and reinforcing its push into emerging commercial and transit hubs. The move aligns with the company’s strategy to deepen its presence in structurally attractive markets like Nepal, where tourism demand is spreading beyond traditional destinations into gateway cities and eco-tourism corridors such as Simara near its airport.
