Legal & General Group PLC has announced the completion of a share buyback, where the company repurchased 3 million of its own ordinary shares on September 6, 2024. These shares, purchased through various exchanges at prices ranging from 224.90 to 228.00 pence per share, will be subsequently cancelled. This move is part of an ongoing share buyback program initiated by the company earlier in June 2024, which will result in a reduced total number of shares in issue to 5,914,090,485.
