Legal & General Group Plc has announced the buyback of 5 million of its own shares on September 3, 2024, at prices ranging from 222.10 to 226.40 pence per share. The repurchased shares are to be cancelled as part of a share buyback program initiated on June 12, 2024, which will reduce the total number of shares in issue to approximately 5.92 billion.
