Legacy Minerals Holdings Ltd. ( (AU:LGM) ) has issued an update.
Legacy Minerals has entered a research collaboration with Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, supported by a $196,000 Kick-Start grant to advance mineralogical studies at its Mt Carrington Project in New South Wales. The partnership will deploy advanced techniques such as SEM-TIMA, LIBS, structural logging, and high-definition XRF mapping to refine the understanding of alteration and structural controls on gold, silver, and base-metal mineralisation.
The program aims to sharpen exploration targeting, improve vectoring and extensional drilling, and reduce geological uncertainty across key deposits including Strauss, Kylo North, Guy Bell, White Rock North, and Gladstone. By integrating these datasets, Legacy expects to enhance capital allocation, gain early metallurgical insights, and strengthen the project’s development pathway, potentially boosting long-term value for shareholders and reinforcing Mt Carrington’s position as a core asset in its portfolio.
