Legacy Gold Mines Ltd ( (TSE:LEGY) ) has issued an update.
Legacy Gold Mines has outlined a 2026 surface drill program of about 20,000 feet at its Baner Gold Mine Property in Idaho, following up on 2025 drilling that delivered wide, lower-grade gold intervals and supported an initial exploration target of roughly 50.3 million to 55.3 million tonnes at average grades of 0.72 to 0.91 g/t gold. The campaign will test up-dip extensions of the Main Zone and multiple satellite zones, while U.S. Forest Service confirmation that its Plan of Operations is complete clears the way for environmental review, positioning the company to start RC and core drilling in the second quarter of 2026 and promote the project at the PDAC 2026 convention.
