Legacy Gold Mines Ltd ( (TSE:LEGY) ) has provided an update.
Legacy Gold Mines has reported final assay results from its 2025 surface drilling program at the Baner Gold Mine Property in Idaho, significantly expanding known gold mineralization. The company cites new thick intersections, including 0.55 g/t gold over 187.5 meters at hole LG25-004 and 0.57 g/t gold over 64 meters at wildcat step-out hole LG25-006, which extends the mineralized zone 136 meters to the north.
The additional assays, representing about 30% of the 2025 drill program, bolster Legacy Gold’s existing conceptual exploration target of roughly 50.3 million to 55.3 million tonnes at grades between 0.72 g/t and 0.91 g/t gold, although this target is not yet a defined resource. Collectively, the results confirm thicker and wider zones of gold, validate the company’s geological model, and suggest meaningful upside potential for future resource definition and project scale, with mineralization remaining open in multiple directions.
