The latest announcement is out from Legacy Gold Mines Ltd ( (TSE:LEGY) ).
Legacy Gold Mines has reported new assay results from three reverse circulation drill holes completed in its 2025 surface exploration program at the Baner Gold Mine Property in Idaho, highlighted by intercepts of 1.18 g/t gold over 24.4 metres and 0.79 g/t gold over 19.8 metres. These latest holes, part of a 16-hole, 2,748-metre campaign, returned multiple near-surface gold intersections in the northern portion of the Main Zone, reinforcing the presence of a broad, active mineralized system along the Orogrande shear.
The 2025 drilling was designed around a revised geological model that interprets the gold-bearing zones as flatter, east-dipping structures rather than steeply dipping veins, in line with other deposits in the district. Early results support this new interpretation, suggesting improved continuity of mineralization, potential for a larger resource, and a lower strip ratio in a future production scenario, which could enhance the project’s economic appeal for Legacy Gold and its shareholders.
